| As Citizens' Bank Ball Park was being constructed, the juxtaposition of this bronze sculpture outside Veterans Stadium, seems to link the past with the future. The "Batter" was one of four sculptures at Veterans Stadium created by Joseph Brown, a professor of sculpture at Princeton University.
